Camps
We offer a breath of fresh air for your child at Play Act! Our camp is a week-long outdoor adventure. We invite you to enrol your child in an unforgettable camp experience. This camp is all about creating a fictional identity and acting it out. During this camp experience, your child will come up with a story, character, and setting. They will follow this self-developed narrative through to the end. We also offer a week-long holiday camp. During the holiday camp, your child will discuss the topics and themes to be explored through drama and music during that week of camp. Camps are a great way to get your child involved in acting, speaking, and creating outside of our regularly scheduled classes.
PlayAct Camps
Our camps are a wonderful introduction into the world of Theatre
Our students will discuss topics, themes, stories that they would like to explore on this camp week.
We then explore each topic using Drama and Theatre activities.
We introduce music and dance as they students want and need.
We write scenes, make props
All the ideas coming from the students.

Our Camps
Let's Play Camp (3.5-5 years)
Children instinctively love playing and pretending, and this is where it STARTS! This class is about laying the foundation for Drama, Arts and Creativity.
The Players Junior Camp (5-7years)
This camp builds on what students have learned in junior level, to work together in group and individual improvisation which is a fantastic tool for building confidence and creativity!
The Players Senior Camp (8-12)
Combing all aspects learned in earlier levels for a culmination of great talent and performance, developing skills in memory, active listening, spontaneity, flexibility and lots more.
Impactors Theatre Camp (13+)
This camp builds on what students have learned in junior level, to work together in group and individual improvisation which is a fantastic tool for building confidence and creativity!

Looking for a Camp that will ignite the imagination of your child, build their confidence and allow them freedom of expression?
Play Act Camps are all about developing your child’s creativity.
We work with your children over a week-long camp, the team at Play Act build their ideas into an engaging and memorable dramatic performance at the end of our time together. During the Camp they work in pairs, small groups and all together, to develop their unique performance from beginning to end.
They bring the magic, the ideas, the energy and enthusiasm with each child taking the lead on the area which most interests them – from staging, costumes through creative writing, performance, song and dance.
Our experienced and qualified team are waiting to work with your child, helping them develop at their own pace and weaving their ideas into a new and imaginative piece of theatre.
